Residual Differential Device (DR)

The DR (Residual Differential Device) is a safety apparatus that protects the equipment and the user against electric shock. The models available in the Astra range are compatible with various current capacities (from 25 A to 100 A) and installation pole numbers (bi or tetrapolar), depending on the local electrical network configuration.

Specifications

• System trip in case of electrical current leakage - leakage current sensitivity 30 mA.
• Mandatory essential device in all current electrical installations.
• Available in bipolar and tetrapolar versions, depending on the number of wires energized (phase) coming from the street.

Usage

For protection of electrical circuits and users against current leakage, such as electrical shock, for example.
